Nedenfor følger nyhedsbrev med nye internationale forflytninger, der involverer Danmark


På den nedenstående oversigt over nye internationale ordrer, udstedt fra det Internationale Hovedkvarter, vil det fremgå, at Danmark og Grønland Territorium også vil blive påvirket af disse forflytninger.

Generalen har bestemt, at vores afholdte næstlederpar, oberstløjtnanterne Anthony og Gillian Cotterill, skal tilbage til deres hjemland Storbritannien. Deres nye ordre vil for Gillian Cotterills vedkommende være som Territorial Sekretær for Lederudvikling i United Kingdoms Territorium og for Anthony Cotterill som Chefsekretær for United Kingdoms Territorium.

De forbliver i Danmark & Grønland Territorium frem til 31. december 2017. Derefter er de bevilget tre måneders retræte, hvor de kan bruge tid på at indvie sig til Gud og opleve åndelig fornyelse. Dette er et tilbud som engelske officerer har efter mere end 25 års tjeneste. Pr. 1. april 2018 vil de assistere det ægtepar, der lige nu bestrider stillingerne, som Anthony og Gillian så overtager pr. 1. november 2018. Den 1. november 2018 forfremmes Anthony og Gillian endvidere til oberster.

Det er et stort tab for vores territorium, og de vil blive savnet af os alle. På grund af deres tydelige kristne liv og vidnesbyrd, deres lange erfaring og ikke mindst deres pastorale omsorg for den enkelte, er vi kommet til at holde af og respektere dem. Et farvelmøde planlægges i begyndelsen af december. Dato oplyses snarest.

Det er endnu ikke meddelt, hvem der skal overtage arbejdet som Chefsekretær og Territorial Sekretær for Kvindeorganisationen samt de øvrige arbejdsopgaver, som Gillian Cotterill har bestridt.

Så snart disse ordrer meddeles fra det Internationale Hovedkvarter, vil det blive bekendtgjort. Vær med til at bede for Anthony og Gillian Cotterill i de kommende måneder.

De har også knyttet bånd til både Danmark og Grønland, og selv om de nu skal tilbage til deres eget fædreland, er det altid bevægende at rive teltpælene op. Deres nye opgaver vil kræve meget af dem, men der er ingen tvivl om, at de bliver en god forstærkning i Storbritannien, og at de også der vil bidrage med åndelig vækst og udvikling

INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS

 

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions decided by the General.

 

EFFECTIVE 1 JANUARY 2018

 

COMMISSIONER BIRGITTE BREKKE-CLIFTON, an officer of the Norway, Iceland and the Færoes Territory, currently serving as International Secretary for Europe, International Headquarters, is appointed as International Secretary for Programme Resources, in succession to Commissioner Charles Swansbury who will be retiring from active service.

 

COMMISSIONERS JOHNNY AND EVA KLEMAN, officers of the Sweden and Latvia Territory, currently serving as territorial leaders in that territory, are appointed to International Headquarters. Commissioner Johnny Kleman is appointed as International Secretary for Europe. Commissioner Eva Kleman is appointed as Zonal Secretary for Women’s Ministries – Europe, in succession to Commissioner Denise Swansbury who will be retiring from active service.

 

COMMISSIONERS CLIVE AND MARIANNE ADAMS, officers of the Norway, Iceland and the Færoes Territory, currently serving as territorial leaders in the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland, are appointed as territorial leaders in the Sweden and Latvia Territory. Commissioner Clive Adams is appointed as Territorial Commander, Sweden and Latvia Territory and Commissioner Marianne Adams as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries.

 

COLONELS LYNDON AND BRONWYN BUCKINGHAM, officers of the New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory currently serving as territorial leaders in the Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders in the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland. Colonel Lyndon Buckingham is appointed Territorial Commander, United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland and Colonel Bronwyn Buckingham  as Territorial Leader of Leader Development. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of commissioner – Colonel Bronwyn Buckingham on 1 January 2018 and Colonel Lyndon Buckingham on 2 January 2018.

 

COLONELS RODNEY AND WENDY WALTERS, Officers of the Australia Eastern Territory currently serving as territorial leaders in the Eastern Europe Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders in the Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory. Colonel Rodney Walters is appointed as Territorial Commander, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory and Colonel Wendy Walters as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries.

 

LIEUT-COLONELS JOSTEIN AND MAGNA NIELSEN, officers of the Norway, Iceland and the Færoes Territory currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in the Eastern Europe Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders in that territory. Lieut-Colonel Jostein Nielsen is appointed as Territorial Commander Eastern Europe Territory and Lieut-Colonel Magna Nielsen as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel. Word regarding the new CS/TSWM will be shared in due course.

 

MAJORS PHILIP AND SHEILA DAVISSON, officers of the USA Central Territory currently serving at the College for Officer Training in the Canada and Bermuda Territory, are appointed as command leaders in the Spain and Portugal Command, in succession to Lieut-Colonels Gordon and Susan Daly who will be taking up appointments in their home territory – New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga. Major Philip Davisson is appointed as Officer Commanding, Spain and Portugal Command, and Major Sheila Davisson as Command President of Women’s Ministries. Majors Davisson will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieut-colonel.

 

 

EFFECTIVE 1 APRIL 2018

 

LIEUT-COLONELS ANTHONY AND GILLIAN COTTERILL, officers of the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in the Denmark and Greenland Territory, are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary-designate and Territorial Secretary for Leader Development-designate, United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland.  Word regarding the new CS/TSWM will be shared in due course.

 

EFFECTIVE 1 NOVEMBER 2018

 

COLONELS ANTHONY AND GILLIAN COTTERILL are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Leader Development, United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland, with the rank of colonel, in succession to Colonels David and Sylvia Hinton, who will be retiring from active service.
