International Appointments and Promotions
EFFECTIVE 1 MAY 2026
LIEUT-COLONELS TAMOTSU AND KAZUE NISHIMURA, officers of the Japan Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries of that territory, are appointed as Territorial Leaders of the Japan Territory; Lieut-Colonel Tamotsu Nishimura as Territorial Commander and Lieut-Colonel Kazue Nishimura as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.They will succeed Colonels Stephen and Wendy Morris, who will take up new appointments at USA National Headquarters.
MAJORS MAKOTO AND MASAKO YAMAYA, officers of the Japan Territory, currently serving respectively as Secretary for Communications and Training Officer – OTC/Chaplain – Medical Department, in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Japan Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieut-colonel.
