Der finder løbende internationale forflytninger sted i Frelsens Hær. De seneste forflytninger fra det internationale hovedkvarter, der blandt andet berører den danske kommandør Birgitte Brekke-Clifton, oplyses herunder af Frelsens Hærs stabschef, kommandør Lyndon Buckingham.

INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.

EFFECTIVE 1 JULY 2021

COMMISSIONER JOLENE HODDER, an officer of the USA Western Territory currently serving as National President of Women’s Ministries, USA National Headquarters is appointed as National Secretary for Programme, USA National Headquarters. This portfolio will also encompass her responsibility as National President of Women’s Ministries.

COLONELS TED AND DEBBIE HORWOOD officers of the USA Western Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Brazil Territory are appointed as International Secretaries for Programme Resources, International Headquarters. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of Commissioner: Colonel Debbie Horwood on 1 July 2021 and Colonel Ted Horwood on 2 July 2021. They will succeed Commissioner Birgitte Brekke-Clifton who will be retiring from active service. 

LIEUT-COLONELS WILSON AND NARA STRASSE officers of the Brazil Territory currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in that territory are appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Brazil Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of Colonel.

MAJORS MANUEL AND PAULINA MÁRQUEZ officers of the South America West Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Secretary for Social/Schools Foundation and Territorial Secretary for Personnel in that territory are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Brazil Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of Lieut-Colonel.

MAJORS LEONARDO AND EVANGELINA FERNANDEZ officers of the South America East Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Red Shield Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Literary and Editor in that territory are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Mexico Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of Lieut-Colonel. They will succeed Lieut-Colonels David and Maria Alarcon who will be retiring from active service.
