INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions decided by the General. The effective dates of these are subject to government restrictions regarding travel.

EFFECTIVE 1 AUGUST 2020

LIEUT-COLONELS LUKA AND RASOA KHAYUMBI, officers of the Kenya West Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Secretary for Programme and Extension Training Officer in that territory are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Kenya West Territory.

EFFECTIVE 1 SEPTEMBER 2020

COLONELS WAYNE AND DEBORAH BUNGAY, officers of the Canada and Bermuda Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Tanzania Territory are appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Zimbabwe and Botswana Territory. They will take up their new appointments with the rank of Commissioner; Colonel Deborah Bungay on 1 September 2020 and Colonel Wayne Bungay on 2 September 2020. They succeed Commissioners Joash and Florence Malabi who will be retiring from active service.

LIEUT-COLONELS SETH AND JANET APPEATENG, officers of the Ghana Territory currently serving respectively as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries, Rwanda and Burundi Command are appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Tanzania Territory. They will take up their new appointments with the rank of Colonel.

MAJORS JEAN LAURORE AND ELIANISE CLENAT, officers of the Caribbean Territory currently serving respectively as Divisional Commander and Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries, Haiti Division, Caribbean Territory are appointed as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries, Rwanda and Burundi Command. They will take up their new appointments with the rank of Lieut-Colonel.
