INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS
It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.
EFFECTIVE 1 JULY 2022
MAJOR CINZIA WALZER, officer of the Switzerland, Austria and Hungary Territory currently serving as Corps Officer, Schaffhausen Corps in that territory is appointed as General Secretary (designate), Italy and Greece Command. Major Samuel Walzer will take up new appointment responsibilities in the Italy and Greece Command. Major Cinzia Walzer will assume the role of General Secretary effective 1 September 2022 and Major Jean Olekhnovitch, along with Major Ariane Olekhnovitch, will take up new appointment responsibilities in their home territory.
EFFECTIVE 1 SEPTEMBER 2022
MAJORS JOËL AND KAREN ETCHEVERRY, officers of the France and Belgium Territory currently serving respectively as Directors of Field Operations in that territory are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, France and Belgium Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieut-colonel. They will be succeeding Lieut-Colonels Grant and Lauren Effer who will be taking up new appointment responsibilities at International Headquarters.
I know you will also join me in praying God’s richest blessing upon our comrades as they prepare to assume their new appointment responsibilities.
